Hi Richard it's a haxis washer and if I remember correctly it was made by Zanussi and had the hoover badge but on it. Rich |

Shame if no one saves it, but I guess none of us has infinite storage space! Doesn't look that bad from the piccies but then we can't see most of the cabinet... |

I also think this Hoover was made by Brandt rather than Zanussi. I remember that the italian Sangiorgio (Brandt group) was just like this hoover. And if you look closer, inside the opening (print ad) you can see two colored compartments (blu & jellow) one for the softener and one for the bleach. Brandt machines were made like this. I don't remember any Zanussi washer made this way.
Anyway, nice find! Ingemar |

Update guys is the Oovvaaa has been delivered to the "Spa of Neil" whereupon I was phoned by the paintsprayer manager who uttered a long list of expletives along the lines of "A little paint job!!! you`ve gorra be fexxxxx kiddin me" ....so I took that as he was fine with it!!! lol
From the photos in the brochure, the laminate worktop and metal surround is missing but am sure we can fix that along with the paint jobby Diomede, yes it does look very similar, especially the top although as you say the pump is opposite sides. Al, I had a Phillips Whirlpool toploader in 1993, 1100 spin the one with the dark grey flip up control panel, vario time temp & spin, had it in a small hallway cupboard with phillips D153 dryer above it, fab combination!!! Bertrum, yes pics have been taken, the paintshop manager wants "All" the world to know just what had to be done..!! Gorenje & Favorit, the label says "Made in France" so I guess that its a Brandt etc...will take some inside pics this weekend and post!! |

Well Paul you where right with that statement!!not sure to stop taking the valium or keep on with them...LOL, went to the boys in the midlands last weekend to have a great weekend and look to start this "oova project"...as a starter we all headed into Birmingham for a grand night out & to visit the Old Rep theatre to see "Ceri Dupree" who is one of the (if not the best) UK`s female impersonators, have included a link because he`s home grown from the welsh valleys down the road from the Hoover Washer factory..the link is the provincial theatre of Swansea, scroll down the page for the video & link to his site, have never laughed as much since we all last met!!!

No wonder it was a tiny dark picture on ebay!!! the metal is solid, just mingin!!! has been painted by hand more than a few times, and its working & solid....the paintsprayer (neil) had more than a few choice words to say..its also missing its laminate top & trim, but we`ve sorted that one as well!!!

Mike looks great, wassup with Neil?.....pah a simple gob job and it will look stunning......
have you had it running even with that dodgy looking outlet pipe? Yah see as it carries the "H" word i personaly would be more tolerant of its shortcomings.........just as is Paul with his 3236H I doctored the images of it from the listing in photoshop and it was apparent from those it was no virgin........but as i say it carries the "H" word so thats all ok Well done on getting it |
