The first Hotpoint looks like...

...the washer from the MOL '84 set that my parents had until last year. By then the transmission was leaking oil and the base was quite rusty from a minor leak that hadn't been detected. The washer had a new pump once and a new belt. The dryer ran without ever having a repair. I wish now that I had saved them but the timing was very poor for me and I had to let them go.
