Hi everyone,

friends of mine who live in Scotland (Stirling) are buying a new washing machine – and now have a fully functional, 20 years old ASKO machine to give away for free. I hope someone who can appreciate this washing machine and is able to arrange for transport will come forward, because it'd be a horrible shame for it to be scrapped! :-(

As you can see, the machine is an ASKO ASEA 12002, fully functional. As far as the owner can remember it was bought in 1991 or 1992. The lower panel is loose, but I'm sure this is not a big issue. ;-)

Fantastic machine people and as unbreakable as a miele of the same vintage....

As for the access panel for the button trap, if it is the full length panel that unclips it is only held in place by metal clip that is 'split, enpanded and rejoined'. Just get a screwdriver, slide in and give a little twist to rewiden and therefore tighten.... The kick panel will then hold tight.
