But by the picture they say see the "great new GE automatic dishwasher" which was the free standing or electric sink model, not the portable which was not automatic. | ||

Hmmm. I didn't notice that... Perhaps the 'mad men' at GE figured the square free-standing model was more recognizable than the 'new' round portable. Bet they didn't actually bring one to your house for the demo! LOL
Now that I think about it, the user book I have for the 58 Mobile Maid stated that the new dishwasher owner was 'entitlted to a free in-home demonstration'. Set the Wayback Machine to 1956, Sherman, 'cause that would be my Dream Job!! LOL | ||
