I have not seen a pink interior impeller wash Mobile Maid dishwasher for quite some time on Ebay. Have they all dried up. I still prey to the dishwasher Gods. Mike

Noticed this dishwasher while I was looking at estate sale postings. This is in Aurora, CO. There is another picture of the interior - scroll down. Looks like it's in pretty good shape!

That is a strange model. It has all of the cycles, but no detergent dispenser. Frankly, I never saw a Mobile Maid with those lines with a pink interior. If it is genuine, it must have been one of the last to leave the factory with the squared front and a pink tub, but that cheap bol wash-out detergent cup does not go with the TOL machine. It went on the bol machine where the timer did not trigger the detergent dispenser. With that wash-out cup, the detergent supply would be exhausted before the main wash. Maybe one of those slow to dissolve tablets would work. Our Mobile Maid similar to this had the blue tank interior and white racks and the new style white covered detergent cup. Our first Mobile Maid with the pink interior had just one cycle and the pink detergent cup where the timer shaft's magnetic portion held the lower part of the cup in the upright position until the timer rotated into the main wash portion of the cycle, moving the magnetic portion of the shaft away from the metal clip in the cup causing the cup to drop and spill its contents. This older machine also had 1 or 2 more water changes than the later one with the blue interior which, in spite of having the Power Shower, did not clean quite as well as the older model. It was better looking with the all white cabinet and all of the excess chrome trim.

I wonder if Frank and Marie Barron know that someone is selling their stuff.

Tom, you said exactly what I was thinking.

But I don't think that whatever this model is, it's not a BOL, there are too many buttons on that control front plus there's a "power shower". Also, whatever that round metallic thing is there where the detergent dispenser should be is not, I'm betting, supposed to be there. Maybe it's something the owners did or it just got put into the machine. I'd love to be able to look up close to it and personal. What's typically GE ironic here is I have one of these with the blue/white interior and they used the old pink rubber gasket on mine where here they have a pink/coral interior and they used the newer black rubber gasket.

Bastards!

Mike, I'd call them up and see how much it'd cost to have it shipped to you. Now's your chance, there just aren't a lot of these out there.

Ken, It is a TOL machine, but one I have a lot of questions about. Which round metalic thing are you talking about? All I see is the sort of half cone thing that was GE's washout detergent dispenser like on their bol machines. The amazing thing is that there is no rust around the metal plate around the supply opening in the cover for the Power Shower. That was usually the first place that the Plastisol blistered from rust underneath. The black gasket was another thing that made me think it was among the last "Pinkies."
