Volvoguy, i think the $5.00 machine is a Roper badged D&M machine, i think thats old roper logo on the upper left with the blue and red line. alr2903

Or in the ad for the older GE dishwasher doesn't it seem like the lower left hand picture is of a newer dishwasher or at least not the same as the other three?

Arthur, you're correct, it's the old Roper logo. A D&MK produced dishwasher. Ralph you are correct, that lower left corner dishwasher picture is a much newer GE dishwasher. As far as the PotScrubber II dishwasher, that's liike the next to the TOL with the china/Crystal Cycle (the gentle, air-pumped cycle). Also note, it has the adjustable top rack feature and the RARE two-wash arm (as well as the 3rd top shower) level wash instead of the piop-up tower.

That GE is the one I wanted them to make in a convertible portable, but they never did, then KA introduced the 18 series so I bought my 58 which I still have. This one used a huge amount of water, maybe the most of any GE.

This is a real nice GE series dishwasher. I dont know why they didnt continue to make this design with the upper arm instead of the tower. The Roper d&m also is cool. I hope they go to good homes!
