WOW! There's no visible rust, even with moisture damage to the drywall.

What year?

I know it's after '56, and probably before '59. Would like to see it with the door closed too.

That would be GREAT if you scored

that one Kevin. My Grandparents built their last
house, starting in 1959 and my Gradmother had that same
model. Love those colorful modestly sized dials with back
lighting. I don't remember if the console had any floresance.

I have a feeling that could be a '58 middle-of-the-line model...

this model is...

...an L-112, & I think it is 1958- 1959- a mid line model- I have an L-110 in that funny greenish blue colour- the el cheapo model is the L-114 ...funny, there was no L 113.... perhaps an unluckey number?

Wrote the seller on the long shot chance that they might still have it or have the contact info of who got it. The seller was very nice, but the washer and info are long gone. C'est like vie. I had luck doing that a few years back with the LB-6 in WV.

Does this Laundromat have no window in the door?

Duh! The square window didn't appear to be see-through. From the angle the photo was taken, I'm seeing the bottom panel of the washer through it. In my defense, yesterday was a very long day, LOL.

By the way, have fun at your wash-in next week!
