Hi Guys and Gals, our little Discuss-o-Mat system is feeling much better now. Aparently Discuss-o-Mat menu page code had gotten corrupted late this morning (broken drive belt) and I had to restore it from my local hard drive. Please accept my apology everyone that I wasn't able to get this fixed sooner, it was a very crazy day for me at work today as I was in meetings most of the afternoon. I didn't even know about it until Austin and Pete sent me an email, thanks you guys!

While I've been very happy with this ISP-server it seems that over the past couple of months things are starting to degrade quality wise. This is the 4th corrupted item in 2 months. I hope I don't have to go shopping for a new ISP again, that's a job and a half to say the least. Lets just hope for the best.

Everything should be back to normal now, I don't think we lost any posts, but if we did please let me know and I can see if I can retrieve them, but that is doubful.

Uhm....

Well...I'm not impressed. You should have quit your job, walk ed out, and attend to our needs first? You just don't care, do you?

JUST KIDDING! :-) :-) :-) :-)

Being a software developer, and doing some web work on the side, I know it takes a lot of work for something like this. You certainly don't owe any apology for the ISP's fubar -- my hat is off to you, you have done, and currently do, an awesome job on this website, no doubt about it. You've collected a lot of great people -- this is definetly one of my favorite websites. With these types of special-interest websites, it's been my experience the webmaster's actions set the tone -- and you've done a great job at that.

I hope you don't have to change ISP's either. With everything you've done, you deserve to be able to relax and enjoy it like everyone else does! :-)

Cheers,

John

Thanks for handling this website. I know how much work it is. I was going through withdrawal today. Almost had to go to AWA (Automatic Washer.org Anonymous)!! I check this site all day long. Don't tell my employer though.

Thanks for everyone's very kind words. Yes this is a lot of extra work, but its worth it. It's my pleasure to be able to do it. Most of us have extremely busy days and its great to having a place to take a 10 minute break to congregate and play.

The drive belt probably broke because one of the control magnet wires came off. Thanks for all your hard work and diligence.
