I suspect that the timer has gone out in my 1992 Kenmore dryer. The model number is 110.96282100. I looked it up and it looks like it just plugs in, is it that easy to change?

I found a dryer on Craigslist that matches my Calypso washer for $300, but that sounds kind of steep, what are ya'lls thoughts?

jackson why do you suspect your timer is bad? Does it not advance on timed dry cycle? I think $300 for the Calypso dryer is steep.

It is slow on the timed cycle, I put it on 70 minutes and checked on it after also two hours, was still showing 15 minutes. It doesn't advance at all on the Auto cycle.
