OK.. here is a short video (23 seconds) of the same wringer with a few towels in it. These poor towels where in there washing for about 3 hours! When I changed them there was a "noticeable" amount of lint in the water! Kevin CLICK HERE TO GO TO RevvinKevin's LINK This post was last edited 05/20/2010 at 01:18 |

If I had one of those, I would be watching it like I watch TV. Start a load of clothes, pull up nice comfortable chair, sit back and relax. |

Is this the original plexiglass or did you rig this up yourself? John |

Yes the clear plastic tub and Pyrex agitator were stock Maytag parts for the Demonstration tub. The agitator has a bit of blue silicone sealant that I put in later because of the hole a the top of the glass, but I suspect that hole is suppose to be there so I should probably go in there and remove the silicone.

My NX had the gyrator in it made of bakelite. I believe the hole in it was to release the "suction" so you could remove it. duetboy aka Jeff |

never seen a wringer as a demo before! reminds me of the maytag dishwasher demo machines that had the clear plastic tubs
so you could see all the action! in fact mike, dishwasher crazy, told me this week he is possibly buying one of those maytag demos! it's a shame more washers and dishwashers didn't use this fun sales promo in their stores! that's a great machine and a wonderful novelty! |
