Someone grab this!

I suppose if someone REALLY wants this I can pick it up and hold it for a SHORT time.

That dryer is not from the early or mid 1960's.....

If it were it would be an RCA Whirlpool...not just a plain Whirlpool. Whirlpool appliances were marketed as RCA Whirlpool from 1956 to 1967.....but it is a cool dryer reguardless...PAT COFFEY

Hey... I was guessing at the age.... Looks early 60's to me (but what do I know.)

BESIDES... when did WP stop selling PINK appliances... it HAD to be mid-60's, RIGHT?

My grandma had this same dryer, only in white. It was also on a pedestal and I thought it looked very intimidating ( to a 5 year old) up on its pedestal and with the slanted controls. Nice machine and it was still going when my Grandpa had to sell that house a year ago.

WP dryer

My in-laws had that dryer in a house that they rented ten years ago. It was avocado in color and was electric. I always thought that the chopped off console looked funny.
