Hey guys -
I've got more appliances in the basement than I care to admit, and some really need to go. Things are relatively cheep or even FREE! If you are interested or would like more photos on any of the items, please email me at benny59@mchsi.com. All items are located in Waterloo, IA. Preferably I'd like for someone to haul it all away, rather than ship stuff off. I also will not part the machines out as my intent is to clean out the basement. Thanks for understanding. If the items are still in the basement after July 5th it all will either go to the trash or the scrapper. Sorry guys, I can save them all. First up: 1973 Maytag coin-op. I brought this home solely for the black large capacity agitator. It spins and agitates fine, timer works great. Coin mechanism takes 4 quarters and the coin box lock has been drilled out for easy operation (coin box does come with the machine and a $1.75 in change!). This Maytag is FREE FREE FREE (w/out an agitator) |

Next up - the minty 1970 A50. If I had not brought this home back in December of 2004, I would have never found the Kelvinator. It is now time to pass along this good luck charm to someone else! Works great. I bought a new agitate belt for it in 2005 and used it in my appartment for a year. RARE transport cover will be included.

Next - pair of pushbutton Maytag dishwashers! One is an original direct drive WU600 (blue face w/ RARE SS front panel), and the later is a belt drive WU-601. While they mechanically are very different machines, racking and front panels can be interchanged. Must be taken as a pair. I have not used either machine.
I went to Chicago for the WU-601 and was told it was working when pulled from the original home. The WU-600 was retrieved from behind an appliance store, but is relatively good shape. Later model blue racks have been installed in the WU-600. $25 |
