Oooh Baby! I like that coppertone Kenmore set. A 1964 Lady K dryer, and a 65/66 upper MOL washer. NICE!

Should I James?

Gordon

The Mid/Late 1960's Coppertone Kenmores.....

@ Gordon:

I co-sign with you on those Coppertone Kenmores. Cool set nonetheless. Someone has got to save these.

Nice looking pair..... a One-Dial/Alphabet Washer with a Lady Kenmore Dryer.

Gordon:

You should. Coppertone rocks and especially with this vintage. That is a 1965 Model 70/700 washer next to that beautiful 64 Lady K dryer. Too good to pass up. Go for it!

Good luck,
James

Evening toploader55

Well, i am one of those unspeakable bad collectors that just buys the machines and collect them. Unfortunately all i did with the philco combo was take off the fake paint and restore her to the original bueaty. I dont have any hookups to test her so i dont know if she works or not. I kinda like the not knowing cause its a mystery. I have over 50 machines with out having ever done anything except wax and polish them. I am the outsider i know. But i really enjoy the aesthetics of vintage washers and dryers. I am a visual person. :) Luv yea all.... TTYL Graham Sorry, had a couple drinks so not the best of typer. Night everyone

The Coppertone set is mine. It's not here yet, but they were paid-for on Saturday. Good price - should be an interesting set and I may have a matching Coppertone washer for the dryer, so I'll have to divorce the current set and find another dryer for the washer.

Congrats, Gordon! Dryers seem to pop up more frequently than washers do, so I'm sure a matching coppertone dryer will come along eventually. How about posting a photo once you take delivery?

Congrats Gordon! They will be nice additions to your collection.

Have a good one,
James
