"Little Swan" Wuxi, China. Little Swan is the largest washing machine manufacturer in China and now a subsidiary of Midea Co., Guangdong, China.
Typical Midea product made for a myriad of brands, this is familiar to most of us... CLICK HERE TO GO TO gansky1's LINK |

Quality control is at an all time high in the appliance industry. Warranty calls are at an all time low, we barely do any warranty work any more. There are less than 1/4 the number of appliance technicians working that we had in the 1970s even though the population has increased by 100 million and people have far more major appliances per person than ever. A safety recall is not so much a quality problem as a design problem, these are few and far between as less than than 1/2 of 1 % of major appliances ever face a safety recall.

Aren't these machines that are being recalled the "Adoras" or something like that? Weren't they GE's first major push into the FL market from a few years ago? |
