I was waiting for a buddy in front of an apartment leasing office yesterday when I happened to glance into their laundry facility. To my surprise, there was a cluster of LG COIN-OP washers and dryers. I was blown away. Who knew that LG had entered the commercial market?

Malcolm,
You and I both feel the same way about LG. I am not impressed. As far as commercial machines go, give me a Wascomat anyday, large or small.

Duet

Wonder if Whirlpool will roll out the Duet in a coinop version. I think all they have to offer now is the Sport model.

I could understand it if they had used the ASKO machines as their commercial range but to use their own LG machines is a joke.

coin-op Duet model?

I think there may be one. I know there is a coin-op version with the Maytag name on it. They look smaller than the Neptunes and some-what flimsy. If that LG is really indeed a 'commercial' machine, it better be beefed up, more reliable, and parts easier to come by. From what I see so far, I'm not too impressed either. For the sake of parts availability, reliability, and looks; I would take Wascomat first, Dexter second, Ipso(pre-Alliance) third, Primus fourth, and Alliance fifth.
