I have also got a parts manual for it if any one is interested. Oh my fudge (i made fudge at school the other day(nice!)) this is a frigidaire dryer made by fisher & paykel

all the gentle annies were belt driven. The direct drive came with the smart drive | ||

Gentle Annies have belt drive but the motor uses similar technology to the smart drive - it is a stepper motor. The motor is sourced form the USA, not sure of the manufacturer but I can check as I have a couple in the shed. My mother has one which I restored and gave her, she loves it, hasn't shut up about it in about five years. Chris. | ||
