this washer is fantastic greAT WASHING PERFORMENCE LOTS OF FLEXIBILITY WITH CONTROLS the only thing i hate is the filters in the tub that always have to be cleaned! an they work good alwasys full!this machine is alot of fun to watch this machine handles queen size comforters with ease! bought this machine new for 500.25 dollars used it for about 3 months then had store it in the other room in basment to make room for the bendix

42 minute cycle is about double what my standard washer needs. Looks like an interesting unit, not sure I'd pay $500 for it, especially with the Haier name on it, to me that denotes cheap cheap stuff. |

Malcolm---I know you're not a fan of Consumer Reports, but here's their take on the Haier:
Washing Performance: Very Good Capacity: Excellent Water Efficiency/Energy Efficiency: Good/Good Gentleness: Fair Resistance To Vibration: Excellent The Haier was about mid-pack in the list of top-loaders, with a score of 64. By comparison, my Frigidaire top-loader scored a lowly 48. It certainly has an interesting wash action! |
