Oh how one wishes one had the space and gas connection to make this possible!

WOW...ANOTHER VINTAGE SQ STACKABLE!!

That is just too neat how the washer tilts forward to load/unload. I'm not sure how you could go about watching the action though.

There's also a stackable called the Contempo Mate (this one is the Ultra Mate full-sized version), which is compact. The washer is a Pulgitator machine (agitator goes around 360 degrees before it reverses; usually no geared transmission with these). I believe Hitachi made these; the washer interior looks exactly like the Australian GE 600N.

I guess it's hard to watch the wash action. But it's a super cool machine!!

SQ Stackable

Well, we have the *connections*, but unfortunately, the location makes it unbelievably unaffordable. Jamie, Kim, Chad.....any interest? All the good washers seem to be in Michigan these days! Will y'all send a few crumbs to the washer-deprived in Texas? LOL

Sure can beat the price, what a deal. This had to be an expensive unit......

Very Rare!!!

I remember seeing one of these on display at the New Orleans World's Fair many moons ago. I wonder how many of these were actually sold? They're a super cool design, even if you can't watch the wash action. (Gotta love the windowed dryer!)
