Hey everyone

Unfortunately it saddens my soul that i am going to get rid of my series 90. I only have room for one vintage washer, so I'm going to keep my eye on ebay for a new one. Reason being is i have a genuine use for an older machine, and the series 90 had issues with heavier loads as the door catch is loose, so the door doesn't stay well in place during the wash cycle.

Other than that (and a few rust marks on the front)she works perfectly - so if anyone wants it, by all means its yours.

You can have it for free, you just need to pic it up - my post code is wd23 1aq - reply to this thread if your interested.

Brandon

PS - i would like for it to go to a good home, because the only alternative is the dump :o(

Would love it....

Hi Brandon

I'd love the machine, always been fond of the older Philips machines since seeing my friends Mums Philips, which i believe was the predecessor to the Series 90. It did the famous spin-drain that is well loved on here & lasted for 20 years of heavy use (it was always on)!

I do have a similar issue to you regarding space though, so i am gonna have to ask my parents a favour or two regarding storage.

By all means if someone is able to just take it there and then, then go with that. If i can or can't buy it off you then i'll let you know asap.

Thanks,
Liam.

Hey Brandon

Sorry for the long delay getting back to you. Not sure if you still have the Series 90, but basically after a fair bit of indecision, my Parents decided to put our house on the market last week, so i'm not gonna be in a position to take on any more machines for the forseeable future, due to needing to cut down on everything i own ahead of the impending move :(

Not great as i wouldve really liked the machine and don't particularly wanna see us leave this house either, but not really my decision.

Hope you can find a new home for it as it's a rare find these days. If youre still on the lookout for a new home for it once we've moved, then i may be able to help, but at the moment i'm gonna have to let you down.

Sorry if this mucks you about in any way.

Liam.
