It was made By Jam Handy Productions for Whirlpool to promote their washing machines......you can see this whole film in 2 parts at Prelinger.com. When you go to Prelinger just click on Internet Archive and then click the letter M and go to page 3 and you will find both parts.......It is also available on DVD as well.....PAT COFFEY

Great period films, I enjoyed watching them.

But for some reason, I expected to see Joan Crawford somewhere in there.....

Cool video! The agitator didn't look like a Surgilator to me, look like one of the Kenmore agitators.

This is a great film. I enjoy it every time I see it.
Allen Joan Crawford was there! She was working on the assembly line drinking a Pepsi! Did you not see her? Wink!

I don't know why, but the late 1940s remind me of Joan Crawford.

Speaking of, last night there was a 1967 movie on with Joan in it. It was about some circus that had gory things happen in it.
One of the worst movies I had ever seen!

At least Joan kept her figure. In those very tight fitting circus outfits she still looked great. But it did look rather strange having and old face on a hot bod.

Berserk.

I saw that movie recently. I don't know why they are playing so much. I like the period mobile homes that most shots are taken in. U.K. mobile homes at that, or Caravans, are much more intricate and partitioned than in the U.S., even today.

I don't mean to wander off the topic

Thanks, Rodrigo, for posting these vids.

Straight Vane

I didn't know that the early models had straight vane agitators. Anyone know what year the Surgilator came out?
