Someone should tell the seller that they put the decimal point in the wrong place!

Did you read what the seller responded to a query?

Question: What is the price of the washer?
Seller: Actually price is $500, but put on the auction to see if I could get $1000.

One thousand dollars for an used Hoover twin tub? As they say "what is this seller smoking"?

Check seller's other items for auction... That Norge (w)ringer must have a belt encrusted with flawless diamonds!

You'd think someone wishing to fetch that kind of money would at least list the washeer in the correct section. Now if it had been $5.00, that might be one auction find I might not share! *LOL*

On a lighter note, does anyone know if the drain hose on this Hoover TT would fit earlier model's pump? It is longer than the one on mine and would like to swap the drain hose when I change the pump. IIRC those hoses can be found on several Hoover spare sites/stores in England.

Note the feedback rating

Have you ever seen a feedback rating that was a negative number?

Negative Feedback Rating...

I have seen that only once before, a seller was taking money but never sending the goods. The negative feedback I left him put his numbers into the "less than" status. Just my opinion, but if your feedback shows 2 of your first three transactions as negative, you should be banned forever.

Ok, Who Has Been Writing

to this seller?

Read the questions and answers, they are a hoot!

On a lighter note, the opening bid has been revised down to $200, still a reserve auction.

Seller seems to think Hoover TT's are worth major money. Mind you if this were a MIB Hoover TT with manuals et al, MAYBE one would consider $200. By mint in box I mean just that, never used, still in it's original shipping container.

Worth $200.00 to $300.00?????

Maybe my memory is bad, but I don't remember those little Hoovers being that expensive back in the day. I actually remember them as being really inexpensive so students with limited space could afford them. And lets see, back in the late '60's and early '70's $200.00 to $300.00 would translate to what in todays market? Honey puuuleez.
