The handles on my Frigidaire Gallery front load washer and dryer have finally broke off. The plastic piece that the the screws go into have broken in half.

I found the part number and yikes, $60.00 and up per handle, which is not in my budget at the current time. This is the handle I need. But.......

I'm wondering if I could attach something like this to the doors of the washer and dryer.

Just tour a local junkyard and you should be able to fine one

No luck in fining handles to so I think I will try and glue the original handles back on using Permatex glue, but I have my doubts because there is much left to glue them too. I also thought of getting the black handle and gluing it to the door using the Permatex.
