Hi there, here are afew pics of the new addition to the household. Have done six loads in it so far with no problems. It's very smooth and quite on spin, love the spin changes up to 1100 rpm. From what I can see the soap draw front is the original it,s just been scrubbed to death. On the inside of the door is a local repair guys sticker so it has been repaired, replacement door fitted at some stage.

Nice machine!!

I'm envious of the water level!

Hiya Richard.

Really pleased that it found a good home through the free-ads.

That chrome door certainly does make it look different - still attractive - just different.

A bit of enamel paint over the rust spots will sort those out and, subject to it being in an ok condition, I should be in a position to let you have a 'proper' lid for your new old machine by the end of this weekend.
Then you can download the electron lid it came with to either your A3260 or D6182.

You have now joined the 'New Magic' Club!

Myself and Rob will join one day, I am sure. Not in any rush though (space restrictions), though if an A3064 Selectamatic 1100 came along (or an A3090 for that matter), then I would join any time.

Certainly have longevity behind them - yours makes 7 A3060's in preservation!

Have fun with your A3060.
Cheers
paul

Hi Rich

Lovely machine, couldn't get over how well Mike's cleaned when I used it!

The chrome door adds an interesting twist, I've never seen that dial before either, it looks like it's original to the machine, since it matches the control panel, but all the ones I've seen before have had plain chrome dials.

All the best

Matt
