Indeed Alex is correct. The last of the spin-slider. My favourite Hotpoint model.
I had looked at this one in Powerhouse I think it was called shop, it was cool they were all hooked up so you could see and hear them spin. I was only young and was brave enough to turn them on but not leave them or for long or I would disapeer shortly after lol. This is the one and only time this dial had this random pattern around it. Why? I've no idea. Kinda liked it for a change though. Darren |

Spot on ultimafan! The green ring appeared on both the washer and washerdryer. I visited the Hotpoint factory during the crossover between this range and the new styled models.
I think the washer/dryer hung onto the ultima name because of the low energy button. Alex-That was was autoprewash from memory, I haven't got the brochure to hand at this second. I belive they made the rinse hold automatic like on our liberator styled 187** I'm having some memory block cant remember the last 2 numbers lol. I agree the energy save button should've been in place of the economy button. I'd have preffered that. My mums best friend had the 9545 electronic 1200 spin slider & my best friend had the 1000 model so I got to see alot of those! Always been my favourite hotpoint model. I at the time meanwhile had the 9534 1000rpm model. Darren |
