I had to go into the Maytag folder this afternoon to answer a question John and I had. While I was pulling information, I grabbed a sheet from the June, 1990 Appliance Magazine article about Maytag Worldwide. There is a picture of this really sharp looking washer with this text:

"This top-of-the-line front loading washer is produced by Hoover United Kingdom at its Merthyr Tydfil, Mid Glamorgan, Wales factory. The Computer Logic 1300 washer features an exceptionally fast 1,300 r/min spin speed, to extract the maximum water possible before drying."

Doesn't someone have this machine?
