Old Friends

The Frigidaire washer is the same model as the 1963 set I had in coppertone.

That looks like my grandmother's WP BD. If I were closer...

What model is it and where in the lineup is it?

The mixed bag set

is the ad that appears all across the US. I think it's a phishing scam.

I am contacting the seller about the Frigidaire clamshell... it's been up there awhile; so it is probably crushed or sold... Wish me luck!!!!

So, Malcolm, the search terms were "old" and "washer" and titles only, right? I'll bet your results included a lot of less interesting ads to sort through, like five-year-old machines that people think are "old." Thanks for doing the heavy mining to find a few gems to share!

That avocado Maytag and white Kenmore ad is the same one that pops up everywhere. I guess they're collecting e-mail addresses for spam. I'm leery of responding to "free stuff" ads, unless I'm using one of my disposable e-mail accounts.

Dead Clam

When clams are done or dead they open, never to close again. The Frigidaire is an Imperial, not Custom Imperial so instead of pushbuttons for the program you turn the dial to the fabric choice. While the backsplash lights up and is a show stopper, it does not fold.

Useless Ads

Yeah. There were lots of ads to weed through. But what a way to liven up a boring Friday evening.
