An exclusive Electricity Board ZANUSSI ED207 tumble dryer! No doubt it has been snapped up, being viewed by over 120 people and being in full working order!

Jet Tumble Dryers

Does anyone have any information on Jet tumble dryers. I noticed one on ebay.

They look a bit like White Knight tumble dryers.

Cheers

Paul

Oh come on!

Last time I saw an Zanussi EB exclusive dishwasher and that caused quite a stir!

Anyway, Paul I've never heard of a Jet tumble dryer, and nothing came up on a search. However I'm guessing it must be a store exclusive perhaps, do you have a link to the page you saw the dryer?

Look a bit like White Knight...

...More like a clone! Think it's safe to say the Jet dryer is by White Knight (parent co Crosslee as I recall).

Just done a quick count and there are only seven dryer manuafctures at large for the UK market:

White Knight
Indesit group
Hoover Candy
Electrolux group
Beko
Miele
BSH group

Oh...and I suppose Asko and VZUG are rarities taking it up to 9.

A lot of the supposed choice is just a rebadged design. How dull!

Not excited myself about a an EB special Zanni dryer but it is indeed odd noone else is, Ultimafan! Maybe the wrong location?

So we're up to 10! Hang out the flags - things are looking up!

Have the likes of LG and Panasonic brought anything out? And what brand is the BOL Bosch condensor? They're quite often bought in from elsewhere.

Biggest consideration for me would be noise: the White Knight condensor is horrendous! Bad enough it's merrily chewing through the electric in the name of dry undies without it driving me to the edge of sanity with all that racket!

Forgot manufacturer 11: Whirlpool.

When I made a list of what was available say 25 years ago, there only appears to be one or two more choices:

Hoover
Hotpoint
Servis
Creda (Parnall, Jackson)
Bendix
Zanussi (Elux)
Burco
AEG
Miele
Bosch
Philips
Bauchnet
Asko/AESA

Low end brands like Indesit and Candy didn't go in much for dryers as I recall.

Still seems somehow we have less choice, probably because many of the main brands are intertwined.

But enough of my lists for today!

Dryers

My partner is going to buy me a Miele dryer to match our Miele Home Care Washer.

I am so pleased with my Miele Washer, great washing results, very quiet in operation.

I know they are expensive to buy, but worth it in the end.
