It's a good one.

It's a 1972 70 series. I have one in Harvest Gold. It's a wonderful machine. It's well-featured, extremely quiet, and a fantastic performer. Did I mention how quiet it is?

I would highly recommend saving this washer. If it is to become parts, let me know, but it REALLY should be saved.

Dave

...feh...

...it's gonna be parts......why- what do you want off of it?

Control parts.

I would love the timer, the knobs, the switches, agitator cap, agitator, FS/Bleach dispenser bezel, FS/Bleach dispenser tanks, and the solenoids for the same, also the lint filter. If I could figure out a way to get them, I would love the baseplate, inner tub, and cabinet leg brackets.

Give it time, however, and see if anyone else responds to get the whole washer. As I wrote above, it really is a fantastic washer to use.

Dave

Hi Robert!

I agree with Dave. In fact, this is a machine that I would very much like to have. Any way you'll reconsider?

Gordon

...um...

...I am not sure- all I really want is the transmission-outer tub, & pump- thats all I want out of the thing- the timer is no good- I am not a big fan of this era & colour- If Dave does not want what is left over, Gordon, you are most welcome to it-

Gordon can have it all.

Saving a machine takes priority over parts for me.

Glad to see one more saved,
Dave

I have a NOS timer for it. I have extra transmissions and tons of pumps. The outer tub would be hard to replace, but I'll gladly take what I can get! COOL and THANKS!

Gordon

Better for it to be saved than to be parted out.

Congrats Gordon:

You could not have found a better version of that model. The only thing better would have been a matched set. Hopefully it is not too much of a bear to fix.

Have a good one,
James
