My laundry tub has a kitchen faucet on it, with sprayer. The sprayer hose isn't quite long enough to reach the detergent drawer.
Martin, thanks for your post. I'm going to look for a longer sprayer hose. Meanwhile I'm using an old 100-oz detergent bottle and depending on the load, am dumping as many as four full bottles of water into the machine. That's until I get the balloon trick rigged up! |

The sink has a sprayer but it won't reach if it was on the left hand side of the sink, it might reach. |

Jim
for some reason I only find this at Kmart, but, in their plumbing section, shower heads, theres a kit to use for the shower that has a 6 foot hose and the same sprayer as your kitchen sink...about $19.99.... NOW...open the package, take the hose/sprayer portion out, throw everything else away.....cut off the end that attaches to the shower head............NEXT.....pull your sprayer out of your sink port, unscrew the sprayer, pop off the little "c" clip, and remove the threaded portion....drop the hose thru the port under the sink, feed the new hose into the port, now from under the sink, slide the end you cut off over the plastic end of your current sprayer hose, use a clamp and tighten, you may want to cable tie the original hose in a loop, you will have a lot of hose under there....now turn on the water and check for leaks and so the hose does not get stuck on anything....if done correctly you should be able to pull almost 6 feet of hose with a sprayer to reach almost anything......save your parts from the old sprayer in case you want to put it back the old way, use a ziplock bag and fasten under the sink somewhere, won't get lost that way got it...or are you confused? |

I think I'm just just going to switch back to my Maytag 806 sometime in the next week or so after I've recovered from my cold. |

Unless I'm CRAZY, I swear it locks......I've tried to open it before when the machine is on and it doesn't want to open. I didn't want to pull to hard to damage something so maybe I'm crazy, but I swear it locks on mine. The model is GHW9300 Duet. I really don't need to add more water though, but still see people saying they add water through the dispenser and it made me wonder why mine locked.
