Hello Everybody!

Just recently acquired above mentioned machine. She works like new and spin - drains too!

I have Googled her for more info, but sadly no trace whatsoever!

Would be very grateful to any bit of info you might have and share.
more pics to follow soon (later today)
Kind regards,
Louis.

more

I don't expect to be any help to you but I would like to see more. It definitely is something unique. Sounds like it already works and you aren't really looking for help anyway. But I am interested in seeing more. Most likely one of our European friends will know something.

Haven't been online here for several days. Nice to see the picture here too. As I told you on Facebook this is a German brand mainly manufacturing electric water heaters (mainly flow through), heat pumps and electric heating. I see some similarity with a Skandiluxe H-axis twintub that was sold in the Netherlands.

Could you make a detailed picture of the control panel?

Cool machine!

Louis

over 25 years old ?

Although I have never seen such a machine I bet it is not over 25 years old - which means you are probably posting in the wrong forum. Most likely it is less than 20 years old and should be in the deluxe forum.

This machine is definitely older than 25 years. My guess is it's from the seventies.

Nice looking machine. Thanks for posting the photos. It doesn't look a day over 20. Sure is in good condition. Do you have any idea how fast it spins ?

TLHA!!!!

My favourite kind of machine!!

I thought was not a spinning machine... though is an oscillating case system (like sthe Haijdu or like that..) I suppose not more than 400-500 rpm

Then I'm wondering about drum paddles... 3 or 4?

Have a good laundry with it :)!

Could the machine be made by Cylinda/ Asko? The control panel and inspection pocket look very similar to the older machines. I found a video of a very simialr top loader. Some girls think its funny hehe. I cant make the name on the control panel but the videos Sweedish!

That machine is absolutely an Cylinda. Made by Asko in sweden. The spinspeed on that machine is only 400 rpm. Its because its rolling on wheels. The bigger variants had 800 rpm spin.

Cylinda

Cool! That means it's a quality machine.

Fredrik, I mentioned Skandiluxe before because of they layout of the control panel. Do you know anything about Skandiluxe and perhaps a relation to Cylinda?

Hi Louis.

Yep. Its a good machine alright. They were made between 1979-1983 approx.

The Skandiluxe i dont know about. Guess they werent sold in sweden. However the dansih fabric Volund had an "affair" with Cylinda for a while during the middle 80's

These were good machines too.

I'm home again now so I have acces to my pictures. Here is a picture of the control panel of a Skandiluxe machine. The picture was taken from the back, but it shows how many similarities there are.
