Excellent haul there mark, the Philips dryers are excellent, as are the other machines.
You can get drive belts for the Hoover Spinners(ebay) or ask on the group there will probably be some one who can help

Good Luck
Gary

Ps I like your mains wiring for the Bendix dryer :-)......just like me fek off to health & safety :-)

It amazes me to see the 85°C wash on the Hotpoint! :)
So far it only was boilwash or 95° or 90°!
Why that was different?

FANTASTIC

That Bendix Autowasher at the top of this post was my mum's first automatic and I haven't set eyes on one since I saw it in her kitchen. I went to live in Oz and when I came back 5 years later it was replaced by a Hoover. What a fantastic machine it was and what a find for you!!! Would love to see that up and running again.

Corr Blimey Mark!

That is one hell of a haul you got there. What superb machines.

Love the Bendix and it makes a change to see perhaps the most obscure of the square door machines. Would I be right in thinking that this is model 7129?

That 95132 looks in great shape apart from ARGGGGHHHHHH the inevitable cracked facia but, with some plasticard and a bit of strengthening a repair could be done. Again this is one of the more obscure new generation machines and its only recently (last two months!) that I have seen a proper picture of one. Your machine is the second piccy.

Big favour to ask of you - please could you confirm the model numbers of both your newly acquired Philips dryers!
I have got others photos of those models, but they are currently in the Philips 'Unidentified' folder and it would be nice to give them their model number identities.
I have a feeling that the compact could be either a D150 or D151, but it would be great to know for sure.

Good luck with the restorations and fingers crossed you keep on finding these classics.

Cheers
Paul

Nice finds!

Hi Mark,

It just show Ireland still has these old beautie's knocking about eg. my Hoover Single 1321A. I'm currently looking out for more collectables but being in Ireland it isn't totally rewarding. If you ever find anything that you don't have space for just contact me as I have a fair amount of space.

James.

Hi Mark

Cool to see the Bendix - my mum's best friend replaced her Hoover Automatic with that model - slow spin, but a very reliable machine!

So where you keeping all this stuff - we're moving back to Ireland in January btw.

David :-)

Hi Mark

Thanks for clearing up those Philips mysteries for me. Just been and updated the info on my comp - much appreciated.

You mentioned your other Bendix square doors.

The one below is one of your collection and it has me perplexed!
It looks like a normal 7147B until you look at the button arrangement - instead of two neons at the left it has one wide button instead, with a single neon swung across to where a small switch would usually be.
Again, on a model number raid, could you confirm exactly what it is for me.

Paul

Unusual Bendix

Further to Paul's question - what is that behind the Bendix - is it a Bendix Home Laundry Centre?
