I have a Maytag A606 washing machine which was in my home when I purchased the house in 1982. Does anyone know what year this machine was manufactured in? The dial is broken so I have to manually turn it to get it started. I do a minimum of 6 heavy loads a week. The machine is now leaking...I've replaced the hose, but the floor is still damp under the unit. I put a towel there. I am determined to keep this machine until it totally dies. I am just curious about its age.

606's were made from the mid 60's until the mid to later 70's I believe.So it could be closer to 30 YO.
