Oh Nate so true! Whatever whe have two of, one is always bigger and stronger! So it would make sense that the other is less-used!
You may act "the tease", but rumor has it your always put out...er I mean.....come though for all of us! LOL And who the hell let YOU into a $16m home anyway? Aren't there bear traps and such to prevent entry strays? LOL |

That house is only worth $1,000,000.00....it's Nate that adds the rest, your only as rich as the company you keep.....
Now thats $15 million to get Nate to your house, and spread eagle on the floor, how much more to get him undressed?.... I may have to sabotage my dishwasher for repair...... anywho, when I remodel my kitchen, I am installing 2 dishwashers, one on each side of the sink, plus a double wall oven along with a regular stove....when it comes to holidays and parties, I need the extra machines... |

Love those blue doodads a la Hobart. I had the KUDS-22 before, which only had one covered compartment. It kind of plays with your mind to have this configuration.
Oh, and we just bought four solid Jet-Dry baskets for the Frigidaire. (Of course.) Greg, Roger, what will this mean for life as we know it to have filtered dishwashing and freedom of loading? Where will we go? What will we do? |

We love it, Terry--it's as fantastic as we'd hoped. And ohhhhh, no-heat drying is nice. No more melted Tupperware!
Harry, no, we don't have the 70s Kelvinator anymore--and I'm sorry to say that! Those metal-inner-tub machines were amazing compared to the awful plastic-tub iterations that followed. Martin--;-) Goodness! And I love the two-dishwasher concept--well, mainly because this was the holiday dishwasher! The other daily-driver was shot and had dull porcelain and un-shiny insides. Install two dishwashers every time--you'll be doing future collectors a favor! |

Togs--Oh, I sayyyyy! No, the contractors did the removal from the $16,000,000 home. I've never set foot in one valued at more than 1.2 mil. Must not be wearing my "good" jeans, I s'pose...just can't break into that market ;-).
Glenn--Wow, it must have just been too long! Either that, or I only ever filled the one :-) |

Fantastic find! Wow! Never used! Did your new machine have the two rinse version timer or the one rinse? Some of the early Hobart's of this model had two rinses. The last batch had only one rinse. It is a beauty! Enjoy! Brent |

Honestly, I can't tell. I thought this was the one rinse, but it does interesting things that my Whirlpool didn't, like purge twice during the cycle, not just during the increment prior to the final rinse. I'll have to sit down and watch it go through its paces and try to determine what it's up to.
The dishes are stellar-clean, though, and I love when it drains and vomits food back into the sink after the purges. Ew. :-P |

You didn't even advise on the price (cheaper than the beater one), or share how apologetic the guy was when he "suggested" it!
I saw this machine in person on Sunday and was hoping Nate would post something here about it. It's indeed as beautiful as the photos suggest and actually looks great in the enclosure--much better than the Frigidaire did. Nate advised that it could be mine if I wanted it, but I'm still having fun snapping the door shut on my Thermador. I'll hold out for a KDS-22 to have on standby. And besides, after using it once I knew he wouldn't want to give it up. KitchenAids have a way of spoiling you for anything else, particularly a Superba! Welcome to loading bliss, guarded china and Tupperware that retains its shape! You've made one giant leap for dishwasherkind from Pinto to Cadillac! |
