Hopefully sometime this week I will be switching back to the Maytag 806/606. The Frigidaire hasn't kicked the bucket yet, but I'm getting bored with with it and I want the Maytag in the house and off the screened in porch before it gets too cold out there for it.

I don't know what to do with the Frigidaire--sell it, give it away, or put it in the basement for now.

She hasn't been used since May of this year, I hope she will still run.

I vote for putting the Frigidaire in the basement. It's always nice to have a backup machine, just in case.

Awww 'comon, we're talking about Maytags here :) They'll run just fine.

I agree with Dan, a Maytag can't be killed that easy.

Tuesday after I get off work will be the day!!! Hopefully I will have the strength, I'm back doing donuts temporarily ugh!

Should I give her a dry run first, then wet before doing the switch?

It'll work.

My parents have a 1979 Maytag washer - 31 years old - and it still works!

I was going to switch them today, but I just don't have the energy. Hopefully I will get it done this week.
