This one is so close that I could walk back to the condo in Montreal with it!
I am sorely tempted by this Inglis Royal dishwasher... I am going to guess early to mid-70s judging by the dial and the door latch. The notion of two speeds is intriguing. I remember seeing that featured on Inglis (and a few of the last Belangers, which were made by Inglis anyway). Did the US Whirlpool models have something similar??

Yes, we had one just like this Whirlpool Supreme 80 with removable cutting board (1/2) of the top of the machine. That door lock was a pain it always seem to become loose and we had to keep tightening the set screw under it.

That will clean the chrome off a trailer hitch on Pots & Pans, better than any Kitchenaid.

Hi Paul is the WP DW a portable or built in? Either way its a really good machine, if the condition is good you should save it for yourself or another member as these are getting pretty rare.

As I recall, two speeds in this case does not refer to two motor speeds.  Reduced spray pressure was garnered by some other method, such as a valve that opened to allow air into the pump or by a 1/2 fill.

WP 2 SPEED DW

This one used a lower fill when running on gentle speed which caused the circulating water to aerate and reduce the water pressure, earlier WPs used a solenoid valve to let air into the pump to do the same thing. GE DWs also had an air induction on some late 1960s machines.
