I saw a Maytag in Lowe's today (traditional auger agitator), but the basket floated around like a Cabrio. In Industrial looking font proclaimed the new "5 ribbed belt" for greater reliability. Hmmmm....history repeating.
I also saw the $4,000 WP Vantage. Felt really cheap--the PlastiChrome covering on the dispensers were already flaking off! The front had a big scratch on the paint and into the dryer window. You'd think $4,000 would get some porcelain enamel. :( I wasn't impressed. | ||

Whirlpool VMW A little off topic, but has anyone had experience with the LG wave technology either front load or top load? How is the top load wave wash system different than Cabrio, Bravos or GE Profile with wash plate? Also does true balance really work? | ||

I did see the wash plate Cenennials at Lowes tody myself. These might be of the MVW drive system. Model #'s MVWX700XW, MVWX600, 500 400 are the Bravos with this new drive. Anyone know the reliability or are they too new to know that yet? | ||
