Don't these look a little older than 2 Years ???

I have not looked at New W/Ds in awhile but I would think the Black Control Panel would be from the 80's ???

Duh!

That's the set I have! The control panel is dark brown rather than black. You know that brown stripe design WP had.

This is a 1993 set, Direct Drive.

My set ran for 17 years before I had any problems with the electronics, and I fixed that by cleaning the contacts.

This set is large capacity with a lot of options. No dumbed down temps. Extra rinse and spin only options. Warm rinse too.

The dryer works very well. No overdrying/baking the clothes.
We have been very happy with our set. If you could get these for $200. you'd be doing great.

BTW, these were the TOL units for 93', and they were reviewed in Consumer Reports of that year. This is only the second time I have seen a set of these besides mine. They are very rare. When I bought my set, they had to be special ordered. When new we paid about $1800 for the pair.

The seller is stating that he has another washer that needed already a repair after 2 years. He says the Whirlpools are much better...
