I remember those models from the time I discovered the American appliances brands, shortly after I came online. It was probably late 1997 or early 1998 I discovered the Maytag website, very different from the one they now have. I loved those models, especially the TOL models. Wonderful set, I'm sure you can resell them, that is ofcourse if you want to...

LOL that is the whole motto of Taurus people, things bring happines and emotional security.

Great find Greg!

My sister has that set. The washer does a pre-wash -wash-rinse and 2nd rinse automatically. And the electronic dry controls actually dry a load fully!

The beauty of it all is one day she will tire of them and they will be mine LOL ME ME ME ME.

Is this near the end year of production of the DC line?

Buy for $9; sell for $200. You're all set!

I actually saw one of these washers behind Lowes a few weeks ago, with the same problem. I left it behind and took a much newer Kenmore washer (bad coupler, 2 1/2 years old) and later wished I'd saved the 'Tag as well. There are lots of these machines still out there and we'll be seeing lots of them, probably sooner rather than later sad to say.

Greg - for that price and so close by, you had no choice man!! You owed that acquisition to your loyal public. Now go get those machines and hold your head high!!!
