Wondering if you are still interested in sending us the Hoover pump? Have sent a few emails and left messages here the group, but to no avail.

If you have changed your mind, no problem; just let us know as our current pump is not long for the world (begining to sieze up) and want to order one from GB while they are still available.

Hi Launderess

I have emailed you too and not got a reply - don't know what's going on out there in cyberspace.

I have your pump ready to send, have your address from an email that did get through a week or two ago.

The reason I emailed you - I also have a rubber drain hose if you want it. It is to suit an AU spec machine, where the hose exits the machine through the back panel, not the top. It should still fit, though you might want to cut off the end which is shaped to fit the rear panel opening. It is somewhat longer than the top exit hoses used on older machines and US spec ones. I personally think that you may be better sourcing a generic drain hose locally, but I can enclose this one, it is in good used condition, not sure what it will add to the postage cost.
I also have a rubber spin mat if you want it, and a couple of belts - the elasticated stretch belt for the pump and the fine v-belt for the spinner. The AU model appears to have a different motor so the belts might not fit but I am happy to enclose them in case they are suitable, if you'd like.

As you have offered to reimburse postage, which I appreciate, it is up to you if you'd prefer me just to send pump and castors, which will be cheaper, or enclose a few extra bits and pieces. A neighbour gave them to me when he replaced his Hoovermatic with a new cheap Chinese automatic washer. Some of the parts are brand new.

As soon as you reply I will send the bits and pieces. You might as well reply here as we don't seem to be communicating by email very successfully.

Best Wishes

Chris.

One would be happy for anything "Hoover" you have, just send em along with a bill for postage or let me know the total.

Managed to get the pump working yesterday so was able to "spin dry" a load washed in the front loader. Think what is happening is the pump is slowing knackering from leaking, and the key may be not to leave it idle too long.

Thanks again for everything.

Am looking forward to my Hoover "care" package!

The spin mat will come in handy as our's is now beginning to self destruct after spinning three loads today.

Thank you again and again please let us know what postage came to.

Regards,

Launderess

Hi Launderess

I sent it off on Tuesday our time, which I think was Monday your time.

You have coming:
-Pump - serviced and with new (non-original)top seal and pin.
-spin mat
-spinner belt NOS
-choice of two pump stretch belts - NOS, the correct black one not the clear poly one on another post
-two used but good castors (wheels) greased and ready for action
-drain hose from a Hitachi twin tub - more flexible and less prone to kinking than Hoover one, you may need to soften the end with hot water when you fit it, and use cable ties to clamp it in place.

I sent it air mail so it should take 7 days.

Best Wishes

Chris

My care package arrived today and am so excited!

Thank you for the extra spin mat, which arrived right on time as mine simply has fallen apart.

Well was that excited about the new pump started at once on the replacment project (thanks for detailed instructions), but totally forgot to load the camera to document for all and sundry my project. Will post more after have the pump installed, and the washer is up and running.

Thank you again, Launderess
