Electrolux WD3000T

Hi Rob,
My Gran had this model from 1990 until she moved house in 2000. Wonderful machine and extremely rare too. They are based on the last proper well built Zanussi machines. I spent years looking for one on ebay, but I do have the Zanussi Jetystem equivalent to this at last in the form of my ZFL1023.

Tom.

Wonder if she really is a cellist! She has great posture and is holding her bow correctly.

Lol. Interesting ad.

That washer looks quite sophisticated!

Timer Chart. Note that this machine incorporates the Jetystem 'spin wash' during the cotton cycles.

ere1 i lived with one of those for about 16 months, great washer etc, annoying that you coudnt see through the porthole easily, also the dryer started melting clothes, took it apart and the exhaust pipe on the back was blocked.

Yes I remember being frustrated by how hard it was to see through the porthole. In that respect my Zanussi Jetsystem is much better. My Gran's must have been one of the last to be built, being bought in late 1990/early 1991.
Another thing with these models was that you have to clean out the filter quite regularly - with the recirculated water running through it continually it soon blocks up with material fibre. Many people don't realise that the water was heated up in the plastic container next to the filter instead of in the tub.

Tom.
