hy! still writing on my dissertation of the cultural history of the washing machine in germany and the UK from 1950-75. i still haven't found statistics about the percentage of households in England who had a (electrical) washing machines in all these years. anybody could help me out? best regards, markus
PS: also interested in any material in digital form, especially user manuals as I already got all reports from Which?! as well as plenty of ads on photograph.
