I bet the spinning rinse is very effective with that huge force of water. I wonder if it also does this during the wash? Attractive looking washer. |

Ok, guess that Demo toy washer is not a gimmick! I was wondering if the real washer did such thing. |

"I bet the spinning rinse is very effective with that huge force of water. I wonder if it also does this during the wash? " The Harmony does. Not quite that fast though. |

The guy on the video says he had a comforter and a few other things in there, but the instructions say to only was small loads (Like a comforter by itself.).
He should have used the “BULKY/BEDDING” Cycle. This is right out of the manual: Use the Bulky/Bedding cycle for items such as pillows, COMFORTERS and other articles which have difficultly absorbing water. ONLY WASH SMALL LOADS to make sure there is plenty of room for the load to move during washing. Keep like items together; DO NOT MIX large bulky items with SMALLER CLOTHING ITEMS. Failure to follow these instructions may result in DAMAGE to the clothing or to THE WASHER. |

The real error was “USER ERROR,” but it sounds like the guy is blaming the machine for his own stupidity. What do you think?
The guy says the error is LE, but it looks like TE to me. So maybe it’s not his fault because he cannot read so he couldn’t read the manual. Maybe LG should offer a DVD w/ this washer. The thermister was probably jerked out of it’s socket. This is from the manual also: |

I was just watching the video and all I can say is WOW! I couldnt imagine a washer self destructing like that and that was his 2nd LG washer that did that. It looks like the strut mounts are plastic in the machine. That could be one hell of a weak point...I know, I know...ya think! LOL..but seriously I wonder how many LG washers did this. What a mess.

Damn, how fast does that thing spin? We've done some pretty unbalanced loads in our Harmony, and it has never done anything remotely approaching that. |

If you store papers, or a pizza box from the previous night in the oven and someone turns on the oven without looking the next day. Then who’s at fault for the fire? The person that put the paper/cardboard in the oven. The person that turn on the oven without looking in it. The manufacturer of the oven because it allowed the user to turn on the oven without opening the door (Maybe the oven should have had a lockout that causes the oven not to turn on until the door is opened. If a washing machine cycle has completed and the lid has not been opened then some washer models will not let the user start another cycle until the lid is lifted.)
People that don’t follow directions make everything more expensive for us all. I’m sure LG will replace the washer and dryer and the consumer will end up paying for it in the end. I wonder what the guy did to destroy his last washer. Washing a heavy coat in a Direct Drive Kenmore/Whirlpool washer can destroy the lid switch when the washer spins. The washer gets so out of balance (No unbalance sensor) then the tub jumps up and knocks the lid switch off of its mount and breaks it. I’ve know 2 people that had this happen. One on a high end Kenmore computer touch model and the other on a stackable compact Whirlpool unit. Neither was coved by the manufacturer. People that don’t follow directions scare me. I know a few people like this and nothing is ever their fault. Does anyone know anyone else like this? |

WOW......I just seen the store toy display....that was cool as hell, I asked the salesman if the real one worked like that.....and he directed me toward the real one hooked up.....
This is Cabrio meets Calypso........great wash action teamed with the waterfalls from 5 locations....... this is what I have been waiting for, vigorous water action plus enough water to saturate, and suds/waterfall recirculation....I loved it!!!....I was thinking Speed Queen TL, but this may change my mind......only issue that may affect that would be how well built and how long it will last......... |
