Nice set. They look like the top of the line Maytags.

Wow! Is that another harvest 806 pair? With literature even! A fair price for a high end Maytag set.

Another Series 00 HA806 pair. I guess December IS Maytag month, lol.

This one has been killing me... Looks like the original manuals with them and I think (not sure though) the washer is a suds-saver. I need to rent a warehouse...

MT 806 PAIR

Paul its a good price for the pair but it does not appear to have enough buttons to have a suds-saver. Watch out if you rent a warehouse thats how Tom and I got into the mess that we have.

I don't think I'd refer to it as a mess! I continue to drool over the pics of your wash-in, particularly that Westinghouse wall. I think you are my hero.

The more I see these nice high end Maytags showing up, the more I want to snag a pair while they're still not too difficult to find.

When (not if) the Affinity fails I may want to replace it with an extra large capacity Maytag washer and companion Electronic Control gas dryer as daily drivers. I think an 806 pair is the way to go. The gold accents on the panel would play perfectly off of the gold brightwork on the '57 GE Combination refrigerator that faces the laundry pair.

I loved the old team of A206 washer and DG806 dryer that I had going from roughly 1987 through 1997, and am feeling like "been there done that" regarding FL machines with flawed spider arm components that provoke catastrophic failure.

I went about it all the wrong way. I bought an avocado 806 in July. Totally rebuilt it (well, all most). Now I'm working on a white 808. It's at my parents house in a zillion pieces. And now there's these nice matching sets that are around that I wouldn't have had to do much of anything to. Uhhhhh....,.
