if anyone is interested in seals for the kitchenaid models 10-14 please let me know.

i just bought two of these seals this week, one for me and one for a fellow member. the office in columbus ohio told me there are still more out there, one location somewhere (they didn't say where) has 9 left. and there could be more.

i'm going to check back with the hobart office after christmas. the seal no. is 77107

i have 3 new seals myself but i have 2-12's a 14 and a kdp-2 toploader that would use them, although none of mine leak yet. so i am going to buy one more at least for myself and could order more if anyone else is interested. the price is around 50 bucks each and all i would charge anyone is the purchase price plus shipping.

or just call the hobart office in your area and see if they will take the time to look for them for you. some offices won't. the cincinnati office was very uncooperative with me, the guy was a jerk actually. the columbus office is much more "customer friendly". the lady said she's be happy to check once the christmas rush is yver.

just e mail me direct at soberleaf@yahoo.com

Hey Pete,

I am still very interested - actually really in need of it.

Cheers,

Bob

Hi Peter is the seal the same on the 10s as the 11-14?, the 10 has a completely different horizontal main motor and I have never seen a parts breakdown for the 10. Let me know if you think they are the same as I have a KD-10 that I am trying to restore thanks John.

John -

I had posted the parts breakdown for the 10/10P a few months back. See the link below.

The parts book shows the 10 has a different looking seal, however there is a possibility that an 11-14 seal would functionally work in a 10. If they don't fit, I imagine that the 10 seal would be next to impossible to find, unless someone has them in a stash.

What the heck, I don't need to say any of this - I'm preaching to the choir! Hopefully you're able to revive your 10.

Ben

Sometimes, you might want to ask me first!

Nah, I am not that egotistical, but I know that there are still a small number of seals possibly available for the KD10 pumps which were horizontal and do not share the same seal as the vertical mount motors.
I will check further on them and see if they can be gotten hold of.
If not, I can probably source them from the original manufacturer of the seal.

this site never fails to educate me on whatever i happen to be
concentrating on at the moment. i don't have a 10 model, thought i did last year but the guy accidentally let it be trashed. bummer! if one ever comes along again i will most probably be interested. if seals are out there for a 10 i would also be interested. i do seem to have excellent luck in finding the washers and dishwashers i want.

bobbins, e mail me direct if you haven't already done so. or are you the member i am saving the one i have for? sometimes it's hard to match up members here with guys who write me personally.

and again i will find out in january what is still out there that the columbus ohio office will be willing to order for me at least.
