This one is only about 25 miles away from me in the opposite direction.
Some may wonder why I would be cruising CL for dishwashers when I just got this same model ISE last week. Well, other than having an affliction, this is why. When it rains it pours (with deference to our members in Southern California). CLICK HERE TO GO TO rp2813's LINK on San Francisco Craigslist This post was last edited 12/21/2010 at 22:29 |

Bob, I'm already on thin ice with two dishwashers out in the garage!
I think it's crazy how two of these have shown up within a week of each other, and locally too. I've only been cruising CL for a 22 series KA for oh, over a year now without any luck, and suddenly two rare machines with 22 series running gear appear just after I stepped up my search. Maybe I should go buy some Lotto tickets. |

Bob, I may have to retract my statement. It appears there's a local AW member who is interested . . . gee, who could it be?
I've inquired, the machine is still available and the seller expects he'll still have it after the holiday weekend, so we'll see where this goes. As in, 35 miles north of me, maybe? |

Like rabbits, I might add. I picked this one up today. A little rough in some spots, but the tub sparkles and it has a functioning check valve! Also, the educated eye can spot the colors on the buttons in the pic above. For clarification, they are: Pots/Pans, Normal, Light, Rinse/Hold: Silver Gray Energy Saver Wash, Energy Saver Dry, Cancel: Light Blue No doubt about it. I'll be switching out the controls so I have the color-coded buttons on the machine that will end up in the kitchen. |

But I sort of prefer a houndstooth valve. (ducking and walking really quickly!) Lawrence/Maytagbear |

Does anyone have knowledge around ISE serial numbers? Attached is a shot of the information label on Machine Number One, a model CLSUP-5. Serial number: HL 0018422. Last field on the label contains an "F" Info on Machine Number Two: model CLSUP-4, Serial number GM 197509, last field: MS Besides the model and serial differences the only other thing that's different about these two machines is that the CLSUP-4's tub has big blue speckles on the finish while on the CLSUP-5 tub the speckles are much less noticeable. I'm guessing the machines were manufactured a year apart, with "HL" and "GM" being the codes for year and month. What's that last field with "F" and "MS" in it? |
