Last week my 5 yr old Bosch dishwasher wouldn't drain. I cleaned all the filters and traps still no drain, then my partner Earl dismantaled the anti syphon valve ( the thing that mounts on the sink) and found a small chicken bone lodged in the valve, which blocked the hose, not allowing the drain water to pass. Now it pumps as it should but the pump motor has become very noisie during the drain operation.
Can anyone give me a hint on what is causing this rather loud
pump noise ??

How about...

the rest of the chicken bone that did not make it to the Air Gap?

You may have to pull out the pump and see what is stuck in it.
