Happy new year everybody, well today I was working on an old Bendix I came across, it's motor was bad so I took the whole machine apart and the motor too, and was able to put some electricians tape around the obviously bad wires and now have put that part back together and tested in and it seems to have done the trick. It hums along now.

But while doing this I removed this transmission and set it down, now in the process of working on the motor when I went to put this back together I noticed the lower gear had come out and these two washers, and a curved washer, and the spring and other small washer? had come out. Now had I taken it apart I would have noted how it went back together but now I don't know. I was hoping someout out there has taken this apart and knows the sequence. Thanks

Is in this sites Bendix service manual?

Maybe you already have one.

There is a Bendix service manual on this site one can download.

Click on service manuals on the club home page, then open the Bendix manual. Transmission service starts on page 95 of the PDF file. There is a diagram of the internal parts a few pages later. This manual is a little older and shows a transmission with the cast iorn case. Your pic shows the later trans with the aluminum case, but I think the internal parts are the same. Jeff
