This machine is in storage and so I cannot make a clip of it in action, but I did manage a few pics.
It works like nobody's business and with only one motor to drive the wash agitator and spin can both simultaneously.
The spinner never stops and operates with the wash side on, I'm sure that its broken in that it should stop when you lift up the lid, but it doesn't, it only stops when the machine is turned off. It has been used ths way by its previous owner for longer than she cares to remember!

Easy?

Is this somehow related to the Easy design? The agitator, the drain lever and the drivetrain make me think that it may be somehow based on an Easy. How cool!

It screams Easy, Tim, esp, the older ones

older than this, but even the cap is a gene zygote clone

Fascinating

Did these machines hold up with utilizing one motor for washing and spinning?

The older spinner which gregm of Worchester once had

is, again, a clone of this. It had no cone, either, and an attached lid.

These machines have a 1/3 horse power motor, and I have no knowledge of them failing. It was always the pump that failed, stays on all the time, belted off the tranny, operated by valves.

Mighty nice twintub! I hope you will be able to repair it so it will function as it was meant to do.

Biltong no. Droewors or droge worst is eaten in Friesland (where I was born).

I was planning to buy some new guest towels, I'm still thinking about the color.

well now there's hope after all...

Just say when... any chance of snow?
I'd only come if you invited me as your guest, which you haven't, but like I said, there's hope!

Well done Louis, a great find, I wondered if it was gonna be a Hotpoint clone...!! looks a lot like the old Easy`s..that Spiralator is define...!!!

Louis, (foraloysius) is it like any of the Stokvis range??

Simple controls like the Rolls, one motor, & on / off controls, I wonder how fast the spinner revs at??

Ohhh Biltong, Mielie Pap, Borwors and those sweet doughnutty things, milketarta?? love the food but drew the line at the sheeps head!!!!

No similarity to the Erres (Stokvis) twintubs.

But, Mike I heard that the sheeps head is to die for ;'D

Forgot to mention that there was a version of the Easy Spiralator that came in "silver" or aluminum or steel, uncoated, just like the one in the Westpoint. And that the later BOL Easies without the spray cone had a small ceramic post similar to the metal daisy in the Westpoint.
