Hi to all!
I'm helping a dear friend clean out her Mom's house in order to sell it and like many folks out there, money is an issue so we are trying to sell anything that might be of value, plus I hate to see anything vintage get tossed. We found what appears to be a mini-basket insert in nice shape and she would like to know 1) is it something anyone would be interested in and 2) what would be the most appropriate way to sell this to an interested party. I will keep track of the posting to see what you all have to say on this. In the meantime, here are the pics we took of the basket. She thinks this was from an old GE washer her Mom had but the washer is long gone.

I think that might fit my GE FF. Mine is a model WWA8344VCLWH (Model WWA8344VCL without the color identification). Mine has the 4-straight vane activator. Does anyone know if this will fit my machine?

It looks like the mini basket that went with my 1978 ex-large capacity straight-vane activator Filter Flo.

I would think it would fit any filter-flo that has the straight vane agitator. Ours was identical to this. Wish we had it back!

Actually no it won't. There is also a 3 vane - straight vane agitator, like the one in my 1970 V16.

This will fit any GE large capacity (18) washer with a 4 vane activator (even the ones with the additional 4 short vanes on the base-the early 4 vane style). Good luck with the sale!

Most on ebay go for about 5.00 to 20.00 as an average....the higher being with the agitator, minibasket, filter, and dispenser included....

Thanks to all for your input!

Hey guys, I really appreciate all the info on this. I am going to most likely post it on Ebay over the next few days or so and just see where it goes. I am disappointed that it wouldn't be worth more, but with the economy and all it's still better than nothing. Plus I would like it to go to a loving new owner. Once again, you all are terrific and it's just so nice to know of others who care about vintage appliances like I do.

If it goes on ebay, please post a link here. If it's affordable enough, I might be interested.
