Hello,

I can't quite figure out where the spring from the door connects to the base of the dishwasher, does anyone have a pic or a description of where it goes? Also is it normal for the springs to make a ton of noise when opening and closing the door?

An update on the timer situation, I haven't received my new timer yet but last night I ran a normal cycle and it worked perfectly. I'm quite certain its the timer now since the draining behavior is kinda random between really misbehaving and working.

Thanks All,
Steven

OK, you have the tops of the springs attached to the hinge piece on each side. Directly behind the travel path of the hinge there is a vertical support member on each side. At the bottom of each of those vertical pieces is an unpainted metal strap (it's unpainted on my machine) held in by a single screw. Near the front of that unpainted strap is a hook for the spring. It's very close to where the adjusting feet screw through. It may be easier to feel it than see it.

The springs should be silent. Make sure nothing is binding anywhere.

Well, in this case more like 100, but yeah, that picture should do the trick!
